Inputing an external device is made easy with two audio/visual inputs. For more permanent type scenarios you can utilise the rear audio visual RCA input or for temporary use you can make use of the easy-to-get-to front mounted 3.5mm audio/visual input.

Crystal clear sound is made possible with the NX501A’s 24-bit digital to analogue conversion providing much greater sound resolution. Control and customise your sound with adjustable Balance, Fader, Pre-set EQ or 3 band Parametric EQ, Subwoofer level, Subwoofer Phase, High-pass Filter and Low-pass Filter. Using a high-voltage 4 Volt, 6 Channel RCA output provides a greater signal to noise ratio and also a much higher dynamic range. Perfect for using any of the great range of Clarion external amplifiers. If choosing to utilise existing or non amplified speakers the NX501A has a built-in high-powered 50w x 4 amplifier.

For external control of the unit, the NX501A is OEM steering wheel control ready. Via a 3rd party interface available for most vehicles you will be able to control basic functions from the convenient factory steering wheel controls. Also for external control, a IR (infrared) remote control is provided with the unit which is also great for those rear seat passengers to control the source being output to the rear monitor(s).
