News: JVC KD-DB56 DAB+ CD Receiver Hits Market

In May 2011, JVC will introduce their first CD receiver in Australia able to receive the DAB+ signal (the KD-DB56). Digital radio is currently available in metro areas and is becoming increasingly popular due to its high sound and signal quality and improved choice of stations. The car is the natural place to listen to the radio and, with the introduction of an in-car DAB+ receiver, JVC is bringing additional stations and improved quality to those on the move.

The KD-DB56 features a built in DAB+ tuner for access to all the radio stations you already know plus up to 18 digital-only stations catering to every interest including chill, country, comedy, new music, dance, jazz and current affairs. The KD-DB56 is Bluetooth-ready via an adapter and provides 2-way iPhone/iPod control and charging. It also features separated variable-colour illumination which lights up the control section and LCD display separately to match the lights on your dashboard.

The JVC KD-DB56 has a RRP of $349 and is available in May 2011 from JVC Stockists Australia Wide.
