While the Apple iPad has only been released for a short time (and not even released in Australia as yet), we're already seeing many iPad related products and accessories coming to market. The latest prototype from Scoshe Industries looks to replace the traditional car radio with the iPad.

The issues we notice right away are the fact that the iPad becomes quite obstrusive in the cabin to start with. To our knowledge also there is no safety provisions with the iPad to comply with Australian regulations that motion video be not in view of the driver whilst travelling.

We don't see this replacing traditional car stereos just yet, but it's certainly giving us an indication of what the future may hold for incar entertainment.
