| Description | I wanted a high end sound quality based system, that blended in cosmetically and retained factory BMW styling. In order to achieve this, the Hybrid Audio Technologies L6SE 6" Midbass drivers were installed in factory positions and the doors treated with Stinger Roadkill sound deadening. The Morel CDM-88 Midrange Drivers were installed into custom mounts on the A-sails and 'flocked' to appear as though they came from the BMW factory. I also added tiny BMW badges to the grills. I removed the Morel Supremo tweeters original baffle, and made a new baffle that fits into the original tweeter location up on top of the dashboard. The system uses the factory head unit, feeding into an Audison BitOne. I'm using two Genesis Profile 5 amplifiers, running fully active and also powering two Crescendo Etude 2.10 10" Subwoofers in a sealed enclosure. |
| Future Plans | The Morel drivers will be coming out in the next few weeks, to make way for full set of Hybrid Audio Technologies speakers. Am also considering changing the amplifiers and rebuilding the rear installation. |
